Application
The SDM120CT energy meter is designed for single-phase applications including residential, utility and industrial installations. It measures and displays a wide range of important electrical parameters, making it ideal for accurate monitoring and energy management.
The meter features a white backlit LCD display for clear reading and an RS485 communication port for remote monitoring. Bi-directional energy measurement makes it especially suitable for solar PV systems where both import and export energy need to be recorded.
Its compact housing and 35mm DIN rail mounting make installation simple, neat and cost effective.
Pulse Outputs
The meter is equipped with two passive pulse outputs.
- Pulse Output 1: Configurable for total, import or export kWh / kVArh
- Pulse constant selectable at 0.001 / 0.01 / 0.1 / 1 kWh or kVArh per pulse
- Pulse width: 200 / 100 / 60ms
- Pulse Output 2: Fixed to total kWh
- Constant: 1000 imp/kWh

The SDM120CT includes an RS485 port for remote communication using Modbus RTU protocol.
