Offered is a selection consisting of one vintage Arkansas Hutchinson Soda bottle dating from the late 1800s, early 1900s.The lot includes:

1)—A 6 1/2" tall, clear Hutchinson style soda bottle, hand blown in mold hutch  top finish, embossed in center layout "Registered  / Ft. Smith / Steam / Bottling / Works". Bottom is embossed in large letters "MEEK". Last pictures are of an excerpt from the "Arkansas Bottle And Jugs" book, giving an in depth history of the Meek family, and the timeline of their growing enterprise in Fort Smith, in which they purchased the D. J. Young Fort Smith Steam Bottling Works in 1895, and acquired a sub franchise to bottle Coca Cola in 1903, there is a very good possibility the Hutchinson bottle was used during this time period to bottle Coca-Cola, until they incorporated in 1916, using scripted, hand blown straight sided bottles.

This is #411 in Johnny Fletchers Arkansas Bottle Book.

The bottle itself is in good shape, has some inside haze and a small chip on bottom.
