This is a very nice piece & beautifully hand crafted. It is meant to have smut on the back splash and look like an operational kitchen. Careful cleaning it with anything wet as it will remove the smut & possibly paint. It is very nicely crafted. The back part is not completely flat. It does have the stamped signature on the back. Some pieces hang from the front. It sits very nicely on any flat surface adding an original charm to the space.
