Rare Chalkware Bookends Elephant Asian India MCM Beautiful

Rare find - can’t find anything similar listed, but similar chalkware does carry a high value

Here’s your chance to own a rare set of book ends that no one else has

They do look redder in the sunlight but the colors kind of in between the two pictures. The one with the brick back makes them look darker and the one in the light makes them look lighter, but they’re kind of in between that color.

I’m not sure if these are Chinese design or India design but they’re beautifully made carved looking and very sturdy. I’ll make a great addition to anyone’s library or decorative shelves.

Condition

very good preowned

They do have some marks from wear and few chips that has been painted over but on the shelf won’t be that noticeable.

I did not clean these thoroughly because it’s made of chalkware and it will mark up easily so if you decide to clean these, please do so very carefully

The picture is the best part of the description so please preview the pictures thoroughly
