Natural and certified teal colored Sapphire gemstone originating from Madagascar. This weighs 1.73 CTS and has been cut and faceted into a square cushion style. The measurements are approximately 7.50 x 7.27 x 3.48 mm.

This piece was sourced by a personal friend of mine in Bangkok who works in the gem market there. It is not common to see a natural Sapphire of this grade and coloring, and we have taken the extra step to have the gem certified by a lab. The certificate will be included with the purchase of the item.

The stone has a vibrant and interesting blue - green coloring, and is classed as a, "teal" Sapphire. The coloring on the piece is deep and saturated, and displays a gleaming luster. A gorgeous array of optical effects are present such as an intense sparkle and glittering effect as best seen in the supplied video.

The gem is fully transparent and has great clarity. There is some very slight natural inclusions found upon magnification and could be detected under close examination. This can be considered near eye clean or SI clarity. There is no discernable damage or chips and is in mint condition.
