Applying Micro Decals (Tiny Lettering ~1–2 mm and Small Designs)
Applying micro decals is not the same as applying regular decals. You must follow every step carefully to ensure proper adhesion and long-lasting results.
We use professional-grade waterproof material, but it will only remain waterproof and durable if these directions are followed exactly.
The adhesive is designed to bond best to smooth, non-porous surfaces such as glass, plastic, and metal.
These small decals also need time to fully cure, so handle them gently after application.
These instructions are provided because some people may not know how to apply or are not familiar with installing micro decals, and following them correctly ensures a perfect result.
Not following these instructions or performing them incorrectly will result in inferior adhesion or damage to the decal.
All decals are handmade and inspected under a microscope to ensure they are in perfect condition before shipping.
If there are any issues, you must notify us immediately before attempting application.
Once you attempt to apply the decal, no refunds, replacements, or exchanges will be provided for decals damaged during installation.
All sales are final. No returns or replacements.
To be considered for review, you must provide clear photos and proof of damage before any attempt of application — otherwise, the claim will be null and void.
By purchasing this item, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms, instructions, and policies listed here.
Attempting installation constitutes full acceptance of these terms, and no claims will be honored after application.
⸻
Before You Begin
• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to remove any oils.
• If possible, wear clean gloves to prevent transferring oils to the decal or surface.
⸻
1. Clean Surface
• Use isopropyl alcohol only — never glass cleaner.
• Wipe with a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth or wipe that is new, dry, and completely free of dust, lint, or oil.
• Make sure the surface is completely dry and at room temperature (70–80 °F).
⸻
2. Position Decal
• Use tweezers to avoid touching the adhesive.
• Even a small amount of oil from your skin can deactivate the adhesive.
• Lightly place the decal in position — do not press yet.
⸻
3. Apply Pressure
• Use a cotton swab or fingertip to press gently but firmly.
• Rub the decal for 30–45 seconds, moving in small circular motions.
• Pressure is what activates the adhesive and allows it to attach securely to the surface.
• Work from the center outward to ensure every small letter or detail makes full contact.
• Rubbing the decal thoroughly is very important — this ensures every part of the design is fully attached before curing.
⸻
4. Peel Transfer Tape
• Wait about one minute before removing the tape.
• Peel very slowly at a flat 180° angle, keeping the tape tight against the surface.
• The key is to go very slowly and make sure every tiny piece stays down as you peel.
• If any part lifts, press the tape back down, rub for another 15–20 seconds, and try again.
⸻
Tips:
• Work in a warm, dust-free environment.
• Do not bend or flex the surface while applying.
• Allow the decal to cure for 24 hours before washing or handling.
• For a stronger bond, press again after 10 minutes with a clean fingertip.
⸻
Very Important Note:
Pressure is what activates the adhesive and allows it to attach securely to the surface.
Once pressed down, the adhesive begins to cure and permanently bond over the next 24 hours.
Rubbing the decal thoroughly ensures that every part of the design is fully attached — this is essential for the decal to bond evenly and achieve maximum strength once cured.

How to Apply Your Decal (Super Easy!):
1. Thoroughly clean the surface. Ensure it is smooth, dry, and free of dust or oils.
2. Rub the decal firmly while it’s still on the backing paper using a credit card or your fingers to ensure it adheres to the transfer tape.
3. Slowly peel the transfer tape, ensuring the decal comes off with it. If any parts remain on the backing, press firmly and retry.
4. Place the decal onto the desired surface and press it down from the center outward to remove air bubbles.
5. Rub firmly again and then slowly peel away the transfer tape, leaving the decal behind.
