This listing is for a Vintage Stanley Bailey No. 7 jointer plane, measuring approximately 22 inches in length. This is a separate plane from the other No. 7 currently listed. All components shown in the photos are included.
The plane shows heavy age, wear, and rust throughout, and is being sold strictly for restoration, parts, or display. The plane has not been cleaned, serviced, repaired, or tested in any way. Please assume it will require a full restoration to become functional.
Heavy rust and oxidation on the sole, sides, frog, screws, lever cap, chipbreaker, and blade
Sole shows extensive rust spotting, pitting, and discoloration along its full length
Tote shows wear, finish loss, dry wood, and a small chip on the side
Front knob shows surface wear and patina
Frog shows rust buildup, dust, and debris around adjustment screws
Blade and chipbreaker heavily rusted and pitted
Lever cap shows corrosion and finish loss
Casting around the throat opening shows oxidation and pitting
Clear casting marks: “BAILEY” on toe, “No. 7” inside bed, and patent dates under frog (partially readable)
Bottom and sides show uniform aged patina consistent with decades of shop use
Hardware is rusted and may be seized
