This is a vintage Chevrolet Bowtie banner jacket from the 60's-70's. This is the real deal. This insulated jacket was made by Horizon Sportswear in Hillsdale, Michigan. The brand tag is is intact and faded as shown. It is hard to photograph but the size is labeled as Large. Large size was quite rare in this era since most were smalls and mediums. Please confirm your specific size.
This true vintage jacket is in good original condition as shown. This one is very unique as it is quite long, seems to have more insulation than the others I have listed, and has a turtle neck. It has bright coloring as shown. It also has the original badge from Wilbur Holland Chevrolet as shown. The jacket is very nice overall with some scatter nicks and flaws. It has thread failures at the pockets and front banner and would look much better with some taylor work. There is also some soiling that should clean up well but I thought it would be better to do this after the threads were repaired to prevent further thread damage. This would be the ultimate accessory for a GM muscle car owner. You can be pretty sure you will be the only one at the next car show or cruise night with a jacket like this! You wife would not hesitate to spend more than this on a jacket, purse, or a pair of shoes. Treat yourself, you deserve it. Don't miss it!
