Natural Tanzanite gemstone originating from Tanzania. This weighs 10.80 CTS and has been cut and faceted into a cushion style. The measurements are approximately 15.4 x 12.7 x 6.2 mm.

This is a great deal for a larger Tanzanite stone with great color and optical effects. The coloring is a classic violet shade of blue and has a good transparency. Many sparkles and rainbow colored flashes are seen within the surface.

This cannot be considered flawless or eye clean as there is obvious natural inclusions and variations within the piece. These natural inclusions are mostly what is responsible for the unique multi color shimmer that is seen. This is a great example of how a natural "flaw" can enhance the beauty and desirability of a gem.
