An uncommon Arlington Edition copy in generally good condition for its age with no tears, stains, or markings except one small tear on the bottom of page 13/14 at the inner margin; publication date is not given, and from research the dates can vary from 1865 to circa 1900, but it was evidently published in the late 1800s; the brown/black embossed cover boards & spine are in remarkably nice shape with very minimal edge wear, corner bumps, and age soiling that do not detract from its overall appeal; the binding is basically secure due to sewn stitching and all pages are intact; pages have very noticeable age-tanning and stiffness (it was difficult to capture the actual tanned color due to camera lighting) but are all present, intact, and readable; the text block has several spots of potential page breaks that do not go through due to the well-stitched binding; some small, minor stains are on the top edge of the inside front cover and end paper.
