A fine example of a vintage unpolished Tissot Seastar Visodate T-12 Oversize Automatic Super Compressor from the 1970s. It features a large 42.2 × 50 mm cushion-shaped case with contoured, rounded angles, topped with a domed acrylic crystal. The original black dial is in excellent condition, showcasing bold, patinaed luminous indexes, a crosshair pattern, matching luminous matchstick-style hands, an orange sweep seconds hand, and an inner rotating elapsed-time ring with raised but unnumbered five-minute markers. The watch is powered by the Tissot caliber 784-2 self-winding movement with sweep seconds and date, and fitted with two Tissot-signed crowns. It comes on a sporty 22 mm honey-brown leather strap. Watch case and cover have minor general use surface scratches. Crystal has very minor to no surface scratches. Movement service history is unknown, but the watch runs and keeps time. However, long-term accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Note: As with all vintage mechanical watches, a professional service is recommended for daily use and to ensure long-term accuracy.
