This time, we're pairing the PD131 armless player, released around 1975, with the SME 3009 S2 Improved.
Its stylish design, which shows no signs of aging, is eye-catching.

★ Condition
Each component has been polished and cleaned.

The dust cover has been polished with a special abrasive depending on the level of scratches, and then polished to a glossy finish for a clearer look.
The platter and metal parts have been polished to remove any dirt or rust.

■ Dust Cover/Buttons/Platter/Rubber Mat
- The cover is clean and clear with no noticeable scratches.
- The buttons and arm base are also shiny and in good condition.
　The black plastic tabs on the bottom of the base that secure it have been reinforced to prevent cracks.
　The base can currently be removed and attached without any issues.
- The platter is shiny, but some minor metal tarnish remains.
- The rubber mat shows signs of wear on the surface fabric, but is soft and has no signs of deterioration or warping.

■ Cabinet
- There are some scuffs and scratches on the chassis and metal sides, but no major damage, and a glossy finish. The wood has a glossy finish with no noticeable scratches, with only a couple of minor touch-ups.

All four insulators are functional, and the hinges remain open without any damage.

Overall, the item is in good condition. We consider it to be in good condition, given its age.

The original box shows signs of fading and tearing due to age and storage.


★ Operation
We have performed a comprehensive maintenance before this sale.
We have replaced worn electronic parts (such as electrolytic capacitors) and adjusted all components.

The turntable is in excellent condition and rotates smoothly without any abnormal noises.
Stable rotation has been confirmed using a stroboscope. Fine adjustments can be made using the rotation adjustment knob. It is linked to the ON/OFF button, and there are no issues with the start/stop function. The strobe lights up without any issues.

*This item is compatible with both 50 and 60Hz.
All of the above functions are in good working order.
