Dynamic, angular abstract cast piece weighing 13lbs. Has mysterious markings, some I can only speculate on

Marcel Arnould lived and worked in Belgium. Born in April of 1928, he studied for a brief period at the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts, but is considered to be a self taught artist as his studies were brief. He died in August of 1974 after a prolific career trading sculptures for paintings. His works command enviable sums at auction across Europe.

I have left the sculpture in as found condition with a lovely patina.
