    Air Suspension Strut Removal Guideline:

    Caution: Damage to the vehicle and air suspension system can be incurred if work is carried out in a manner other than specified in the instructions or in a different sequence.
    1.To avoid the possibility of short circuits while working with electric components consult your owner's manual on how to disconnect your battery.
    2.Consult your vehicle owner's manual, service manual, or car dealer for the correct jacking points on your vehicle and for additional care, safety and maintenance instructions. Under no circumstances should any work be completed underneath the vehicle if it is not adequately supported, as serious injuries and death can occur.

    1. Raise the vehicle.
    2. Remove the applicable rear wheel.
    3. Remove wheel well liner.
    4. Use the scan tool to deflate the air spring into the reservoir.
    5. Loosen and remove the air line.

    6. Push in the locking tabs and push downward on the air spring to dislodge it from the vehicle.

    7. Remove the air spring from the vehicle completely.

     

     

    Installation Guideline:

    1. Reinstall the air line and tighten to manufacturer's specifications.

    2. Install the new air spring into the vehicle.

    3. Use jack or stand to raise axle until spring seat contacts bottom mount.

    4. Use the scan tool to do a short-time inflation.

    5. Remove jack or stand from previous step and ensure air spring is seated before continuing with full inflation.
    6. Inflate air spring completely.

    7. Check the system's total air mass to ensure that it meets manufacturer's specifications.
    8. Reinstall the wheel well liner.
    9. Reinstall the wheel.
    10. Lower the vehicle.
    11. Installation complete.
