Synopsis (Series 6, Episodes 1–2)

Blue Watch return for Series 6 with more high-pressure emergencies and personal upheavals. After answering a call to help an elderly woman whose basement has flooded, the team barely have time to breathe before new Leading Firefighter Geoff Pearce arrives — and instantly struggles to fit into the close-knit Watch.

Back at Blackwall, Maggie proudly shows off her new kitchen while cheerful new recruit Billy settles in. A dangerous chip pan fire puts the crew to the test, and chaos erupts when Kevin unexpectedly wins a greyhound in a card game.

On the job, Bayleaf has to swerve sharply to avoid a reckless motorcyclist and crashes into a young couple’s car, which bursts into flames. Meanwhile, George is selected to represent the Fire Service in a boxing match against the police, and Nick finally meets a woman who might be his match.

These opening episodes set the tone for a dramatic Series 6, packed with danger, emotion, teamwork, and classic London’s Burning intensity.
