This finely detailed set of eight Bohemian Czech ruby cut-clear crystal tumblers represents the high standard of mid-century glass engraving from the Nový Bor region of Czechoslovakia. Each glass is hand-cut, wheel-engraved, and signed “JMK” by Josef Mikšík, an accomplished artisan known for his wildlife and forest scenes.

Each of the eight tumblers is individually signed “JMK,” an uncommon feature that confirms the set was engraved as a matched group by Josef Mikšík. All signatures are clear and visible, and photos of three examples are shown for reference.

The design features a stag standing in a wooded landscape, framed by scroll and lattice borders cut through a deep ruby overlay to the clear crystal beneath. The engraving is crisp and symmetrical, with excellent color depth and polish. Each glass measures approximately 6 inches tall and has the bright ring and substantial weight characteristic of quality Czech crystal.

The precision of the wheel-engraving, the clarity of the glass, and the consistency of the color suggest workshop-level production intended for export rather than casual souvenir pieces.

The set appears unused or displayed only, retaining full surface brilliance with no evidence of wear. All eight pieces are individually signed and perfectly matched in tone and proportion.
