Product Description


This is a Yamaha CA-2000 integrated amplifier.
Although this amplifier is over 40 years old, it has a well-balanced combination of components and boasts a very appealing sound quality. The phono equalizer's sound quality, in particular, is highly regarded, making this amplifier a recommended choice for record enthusiasts.


The following maintenance was performed.
- Power amplifier section adjustment (DC offset, idling)
- Contact cleaning 
- Cleaning relay contacts 
- Solder repair 
- Replace the meter lamp with an LED (white LED)
- Parts replacement: TR replacement (power supply, power amplifier board), small and medium electrolytic capacitor replacement (power supply, EQ board)
- Interior and exterior cleaning


Operating status
- Check the sound output for each selector (PHONO1 MC/MM, PHONO2, TUNER, AUX, TAPE1, TAPE2).
- Power amplifier Class A/Class B operation check
- Tone operation check
- MUTE/ATT operation check
- Speaker A/B operation check
- Check the sound from the headphone jack.
- Pre-out/Main-in operation check
- Check meter operation
- Check that there is no crackling sound in the volume and balance controls.


Although it is in good condition, please note that there are some scuffs and scratches on the wooden case and panel.
