This is a quality reprint of US Army Manual TM9 2320 246 20P.  Originally published in December, 1969 it provides exploded views and part numbers for the M274A2, A3, A4, & A5, Truck, Platform Utility, ½ Ton, 4X4 or in common terms the Mule.  I you are rebuilding or running a Mule you need this manual.

From the Manual:

ORGANIZATIONAL MAINTENANCE REPAIR PARTS AND SPECIAL TOOLS LIST

Section 1. INTRODUCTION

1. Scope.

This manual is a list of repair parts and special fools required for the performance of Organizational Maintenance of the M274 series of vehicles.

2. General.

This repair parts and special tools list is divided into the following sections:

a. Prescribed Load Allowance List (PLAN) Section At. A consolidated listing of repair parts quantitatively allocated for initial stockage at the organizational level.

b. Special Tools, Test and Support Equipment List—Section III. A list of special tools, test and support equipment authorized for the performance of maintenance at the organizational level.

c. Repair Parts List—Section ~V. A list of repair parts authorized for the performance of maintenance at the organizational level.

d. Federal Stock Number and Part Number Index- Section V. An index of FSN's to illustration figure and item numbers.

The pictures are very usable and not washed out or too dark like many of the manuals I have seen that from copy machines.  This is laser printed on 24 pound paper.  Copy paper is generally 20 pound and you can feel the difference.  It is bound with GBC plastic combs so that it will lay flat.  If you would like I can, rather than bind with the plastic comb, three hole punch it for your binder.

If you are collecting military manuals or looking for a prop to display at your next show, this is not the manual you want.  If you want some usable information on the Mule that will lay flat on your bench when you are working on your pride and joy or some period information on how it was done back forty years ago while you curl up in front of the fire this winter, this is the one you need.
