Vintage 1965 Western Electric 500 black Rotary dial desk Telephone NICE COND!

Description

WESTERN ELECTRIC 500 Series Rotary Phone

Here's a cool Estate find! Black Rotary telephone with clear, smooth turning finger dial. Untested, but presumed to be able to work. It will need a cord to plug into a standard POTS (plain old telphone sytem). Outer case appears free cracks, etc and could use a little buffing. Handset, likewise. Receiver element is date coded to 1965, the transmiter was replaced c. 1971.

That being said, keep in mind that these phones were built to last for decades in the Western Electric factory in Chicago and are fairly easy to repair as parts are quite plentiful. This phone is a great "conversation piece" for your eclectic decor and could be used as spare phone which will work in a power outage, or can be taken apart for quality parts.

Will be packed safely and securely and sent either UPS Ground, Priority Mail or FedEx Groundc. Local pick up available.
