The Chattanooga Lookouts have a rich history in minor league baseball, with roots dating back to 1885. The team adopted its current name in 1909 after a fan contest, but the franchise has seen numerous league changes, championship wins, and new stadiums throughout its history, including the 1930 opening of Engel Stadium and the 2000 opening of AT&T Field.
