This is a real deal tach drive distributor for a 1968 Corvette with the 427 390HP or 400HP engine. The tag reads 1111294 Delco Remy  9 C 10. The 1111294 is the part number for this distributor. The 9C10 is the date which decodes as March 10th, 1969. Based on the date code, this was likely a replacement sold over the dealer parts counter. Many of the TI distributors ar ete same with slight differences like the vacuum advance so tis will likely also fit other years and engines. Please confirm your specific application. These transistorized ignition distributors were quite rare wen new.  Finding one today in this  condition is a very difficult task.
