This is a real deal Faria 6,000 RPM tachometer from the 1960's-70's. This style tachometer tachometer was made by Faria which is the same company that made the Rotunda tachometers as well as many other tachs for Ford and others.  This style tach was offered as an accessory over the dealer parts counter at Ford and Mercury dealers. American Motors also had the same design tach with different artwork on the dial.. This tachometer is designed to work with six cylinder engines and has a simply hook up of one wire to the positive side of the ignition switch and the other to the positive side of the coil. This tachometer would be right at home in a variety of applications. 

This tachometer is in very good original condition as shown. The dial is bright, vibrant, and easy to read. The lens looks to be real glass and has no chips or breaks.  The bezel is very nice with no dings or dents. The housing and mounting bracket are original and in good condition. The back of the tach is ink stamped 6 CYL as shown. This tach has been tested and works well throughout the RPM band and returns to zero when powered off. This is an awesome original Faria 6K tach!
