COLORBLOCK TURQUOISE & IVORY Vintage 80s Square Neck Short Sleeve DAY DRESS - L

Vintage 1980s deadstock day dress made of a medium weight woven polyester/rayon (it has a linen look) colourblocked in a turquoise blue and an ivory white.  The short cuffed sleeved dress has a softly draped bodice with a square neckline and a fitted/elasticized waist with a removable matching skinny belt.  The attached knee length skirt has large patch pockets highlighted with piping and a tapered cut.   The dress is unlined and slips on without any fastens.  

MEASUREMENTS:  No size labels  ... bust measures 40 inches (therefore fits a size 36 - 38 bust best),  the  elasticized waist fits 29 - 33 inches best (and the belt fits 31 - 34 inches but more notches could easily be added to make it smaller) and the hips measure 46 inches.  There is no stretch to the fabric - as always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit (and with no fastens / openings, there has to be enough room for you to easily wiggle in and out).  The dress is designed to fit loosely.  The dress is 44 inches in length.

CONDITION:  Vintage deadstock, new without tags, the garment is unworn and in excellent condition.

All of my items are vintage and therefore will have some minimal signs of wear consistent with their age (example - a loose thread).  I describe my items as honestly and accurately as possible with both text and pictures - clearly noting any known larger imperfections (holes, stains, missing buttons, etc).  If I have missed something, I apologize - please let me know and I will do my best to fix the issue.  But please remember I am a human being.  My preloved items have been freshly laundered unless otherwise noted in the description.
