Natural and certified yellow Sapphire gemstone originating from Madagascar. This weighs 1.47 CTS and has been cut and faceted into a square cushion style. The measurements are approximately 6.48 x 6.39 x 3.87 mm.

This stone was sourced by a personal friend of mine in Bangkok who works in the gem market there. He often supplies us with some of the more rare and interesting pieces. We have taken the extra step to have this certified by a lab. The purchaser will receive the certificate of authentication.

The gem is a striking bright yellow shade with a gleaming vitreous luster. There is one very small patch of blue coloring in one corner and could technically be considered a bi color Sapphire, although the majority of the gemstone is yellow.

Higher grade optical effects such as brilliant flashes and an intense shimmering effect are best seen in the supplied video. This is completely earth mined, with no modifications other than standard heat treatment to enhance color. ( almost all yellow Sapphirea are heat treated)

The gemstone is fully transparent and has excellent clarity. There is only slight inclusions found upon examination. This would be considered near eye clean or SI clarity. There is no discernable damage or chips and is in prestine condition.
