Edgewear, corners lightly bumped and rubbed, head and foot of spine chipped with small loss (see pic). Prior owners' return address label to front pastedown, Asian lettering and stamp to first free endpaper. Engraved half-title in red and black with tipped-in illustration. Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and two additional engravings within the text, all tissue guarded.
