The story of boxer James J. Corbett (Errol Flynn) who is determined to rise above his station. He is a bank cleric with a head full of dreams, who gets help from Victoria Ware (Alexis Smith) to get a foothold into the Olympic Athletic Club where he astounds the club members with his talent and he is now on his way to become the next heavy weight champion of the world.
