Royal Doulton Blue Bird 5 3/4" Bird Figurine HN 2543 EXC 1940s Rare

By Royal Doulton. Part of a bird series that was issued in 2 sizes. This larger and elegantly modeled size was given the HN number series, while the smaller, and less refined pieces that mimicked the larger version, were given K numbers. These larger pieces are quite rare and hard to find and retail well over $300+ in excellent condition.

This specific piece is HN 2543 is the Blue Bird. It measures just about 5 3/42 inches tall; 5 inches long on a base that measures about 2 7/8 by 3 inches. The mark dates this piece to 1941.

As of the initial fate of this listing, I have 2 other pieces of this series listed (1 is damaged and the other is also in excellent condition) from the same collection and am happy to combine shipping. Please request a combined invoice. However, if you overpay, we refund excess shipping over our expense. Due to the delicate nature of these pieces, we will be very cautious in packing.
