  • This latch is an example of an early cast iron latch
  • The latch has none of the old paint remaining
  • The primitive iron gives it a neat charming beauty
  • The knob is white porcelain
  • The knob has a few small blemishes that good old porcelain often has
  • The knob post is solid brass
  • Likely cast in the late 1800’s
  • A set of old screws is included
  • The latch was cleaned and oiled to prevent rust
  • It is ready for paint. Just wash with soap and water
  • The latch is 3 8/8" long 
  • It is 1 3/4" wide
