Vintage 1977-1981 Mikasa Fine China Empire Blue L4551 Sugar & Creamer - Mikasa Fine China Japan retired the Empire Blue pattern in 1981.  The Sugar (with Lid) is a lovely blue outside with white inside, has two gold stripes around the top, and one gold stripe around the bottom.  It is 3-3/4" high with the lid on, is 2-3/8" high without the lid, and has a diameter of 4-1/8" from rim to rim at the top.  The Creamer is blue outside with white inside, has one gold stripe around the top, and two gold stripes around the bottom.  It is 2-3/8" high, has a diameter of 3-1/4" from rim to rim, and a length of 5" from the pour lip to the end of the handle.  Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, scratches, or crazing.  Sweet Spot wanted some loves; he got some.
