G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary & FROGMAN 30th Anniversary MR-G FROGMAN Limited Edition Model
■ This limited edition MR-G FROGMAN model celebrates the 40th anniversary of G-SHOCK and the 30th anniversary of FROGMAN.
In addition to the fluororubber Durasoft band in the iconic yellow of the original FROGMAN model, this special edition includes a titanium bracelet-type band and a dedicated replacement tool.
■ Bands can be easily replaced by pressing the button on the back of the lugs and removing the side pins.
The pure titanium is deep-hardened, with DLC coating and gold ion plating for enhanced surface hardness.
■ The face also features a yellow color for excellent visibility underwater. The deep indexes are thickly coated with yellow Neobrite luminescent paint by hand, providing a bright glow even in dark places.
The screw-back case back features a beautiful depiction of FROGMAN's iconic frog character on a sapphire crystal with gold deposition.
■The MRG-BF1000 series is an MR-G model that features a titanium exterior and meticulous finishing on the FROGMAN, a full-fledged diver's watch with ISO 200m water resistance.
The FROGMAN was born in 1993 and, while offering full-fledged water resistance, attracted attention from the time of its release for its distinctive design, including its asymmetrical shape and the frog character on the screw-back case back.
The complex shape was originally designed to be made from resin, but when it was commercialized in titanium as the MR-G, the parts were separated and polished down to the finest detail, resulting in a higher-quality finish.
The FROGMAN is assembled from over 70 exterior parts, including the O-rings that ensure its high water resistance and the shock absorbers that ensure its shock resistance.
■The high-strength protective structure, with fluorine rubber shock absorbers placed on the multi-part bezel, not only absorbs impacts but also functions as a face guard to protect the glass.
■In terms of functionality, it features Bluetooth® communication and three dual-coil motors that enable high-speed hand movement, ensuring stress-free operation.
When diving, the hour and minute hands work together to display dive time (minutes), providing excellent visibility.
The dedicated app also makes it easy to set tidal data for over 3,000 locations around the world. You can also check your dive log on your smartphone, allowing you to view data measured on the watch in more detail.
The watch is equipped with a dedicated MR-G module featuring a gold-plated circuit retainer plate.
