The "Beast" player: Coleman was the Big East Player of the Year in 1990 and was nicknamed "DC," but fans and opponents also recognized him as a force on the glass. In that 1989–90 season, Coleman averaged 12.1 rebounds per game, the highest for a Syracuse player since 1975.
