Embossed leather cover with gilt lettering & designs in very nice condition despite slight spine bumps.  Gilt around the edge of the text block is in excellent shape all around.  Thumb indexed.  Interior quite clean and unmarked.  Lovely color illustration under wax paper at the beginning depicting the New York Public Library.  Profusely illustrated.  In amazingly good condition for its age.  See photos.
