Original French tobacco advertising card from the 1920s–1930s, issued by the state tobacco monopoly Régie Française.
The card is double-sided:
Front: Gitanes – Cigarettes de Choix featuring a boy in a red uniform, lighting a cigarette.
Back: Sultanes – Cigarettes en Tabacs d’Orient with an elegant woman in Orientalist attire seated on cushions, smoking.
The bold colors and stylized figures are typical of French Art Deco commercial illustration. This is a scarce survivor from the period and a great example of early tobacco advertising ephemera.
Size: 6" x 2.25"
Brand: Gitanes / Sultanes (Régie Française)
Date: Circa 1920s–1930s
Style: Art Deco, Orientalist advertising
Format: Printed card, double-sided
Perfect for collectors of tobacco advertising, French ephemera, or Art Deco illustration.
