Stevenson former president of Oberlin College in Ohio, takes the oath today at the State Department in Washington as he becomes the new United States Ambassador to the Philippines. Administering the oath are Samuel L. King, left, Assistant Chief of Protocol, and Undersecretary of State George McGhee.
