EN-46789 locks the camshafts during timing belt service to maintain the relationship between the crankshaft and the camshafts. Once the crank sprocket is positioned by EN-46788, and the camshafts are locked in place with EN-46789, the camshaft sprocket and tensioner can be loosened to service the belt. During installation, EN-46788 and EN-46789 maintain the positions of the crankshaft and the camshafts.
