In 1987, George Harrison released "Cloud Nine," his first album in five years. Produced by Jeff Lynne of ELO and featuring guest appearances by Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, and Elton John, this masterpiece saw the single "Set on You" reach No. 1 in the US, and "Fab" and "This Is Love" also enjoyed successive hits. It remains one of George's most commercially successful solo albums. This "AI Audio Companion" compilation brings together new audio sources different from previous remastered CDs. Disc 1 features the "AI Multitrack New Remix Album," a unique multitrack remix featuring the entire album, plus extra tracks, with a distinct separation between vocals and backing tracks. The second half of the album features the "AI Backing Tracks Instrumental," featuring backing tracks from the six tracks on side A, with the vocals removed using AI audio analysis. DISC 2 is a compilation of "ALTERNATE AND EXTRA TRACKS," including single versions and remixes not included on the album, the soundtrack to the film "Shanghai Surprise," which George produced and directed, and unreleased tracks. The second half includes five backing tracks from the album's B-side. This is the latest title in the notable series, offering the best special edition of "Cloud Nine," one of George Harrison's most representative albums of the '80s during his solo career.
