Natural and untreated pink spinel gemstone originating from Myanmar (Burma). This weighs 1.25 CTS and has been cut into a square cushion style. The measurements are approximately 5.2 x 5.1 x 4.7 mm.

The stone has a vivid and true pink color with an amazing sheen. This type of spinel is sometimes referred to as balas ruby spinel or Jedi pink spinel. Beautiful optical effects are visible such as glint filled sparkling surface, as best seen in the supplied video. This would be an ideal size for a ring, accent stone or smaller piece of jewelry.

The gem has a fully transparent and reflective surface, and displays and excellent clarity. There is only slight variations found upon magnification. This would be considered eye clean or VVS clarity. There is no discernable damage or chips and is in mint condition.
