This comes out of a collection of Marin County California trade tokens, and original owner had it displayed with tokens since it is similar size. This would have been bought many many years ago as a souvenir at this National Monument

 THE "MUIR WOODS NATIONAL MONUMENT" NAMED FOR FAMED NATURALIST JOHN MUIR WAS STARTED BACK IN 1908. ORIGINAL OWNER THOUGHT THIS SOUVENIR FROM THE 1920'S ERA BASED ON STYLE.

The historic site of "JOHN MUIR NATIONAL MONUMENT" is located in Marin County ...not far from Mill Valley, California
