For sale is a pair of authentic antique American made brass plinth fireplace/hearth andirons with classic ribbed decorations and finial. 

Each andiron measures 16” tall, 14” deep, and 8” between the arched feet. The item is in excellent antique condition. All connections and links are hand hammered and remains secure. It is structurally sound with no wobbles at all. Age appropriate surface surface wears and imperfections are to be expected. Please study the pictures carefully before committing to buy.

Overall, this is a classical example that showcases the early 19th century American metal smith craftsmanship. A great display item for collectors of early brass /early Americana /primitive fireplace and hearth tool.
