TIPS TO HELP KEEP SILICONE MOULD IN GOOD CONDITION:

1. Cleaning the mould: After each use, clean the mould thoroughly to remove any residue. Gently wash the mould with warm soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh cleaners that could damage the silicone.

2. Drying the mould: Once you've cleaned the mould, allow it to air dry completely before storing or reusing. Make sure there is no moisture left in the mould, as it can cause mould growth or affect the quality of your next use

3. Proper storage: Store your silicone mould in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep it in a box or container that prevents dust, dirt, or other particles from settling on the surface of the mould.

4. Handling: When using the mould, use it with care to avoid scratching or dropping it. Avoid using sharp or metal tools that can damage the surface of the mould. Additionally, be cautious when removing the finished product from the mould to prevent any unnecessary stress on the mould.

5. Avoid extreme temperatures: Silicone moulds are generally heat-resistant, but it's best to avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures. Sudden temperature changes can cause the mould to warp or become damaged. For example, don't place a hot mould directly into cold water, as it can lead to cracking.

6. Release agent: Depending on the material you are casting, consider using a release agent to facilitate easy removal of the finished product. This can be a mould release spray or a simple solution of water and dish soap. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the specific release agent you choose.
