Extremely RARE and fully labeled, Madame Alexander, black plush, French poodle, "Pierre", boudoir dog, circa late 1940s-1952. This exceptional poodle measures, 15" tall, with firmly stuffed, black velvet body, long lavender taffeta, lined ears with looped yarn tips, topknot, legs and tail, large black plastic eyes with felt eyelids and dark pink (♥ heart shaped ღ) felt nose. He, "Pierre", wears his original (and often missing) gold chain and monocle over one eye, felt shirt collar and original flower bouquet. His original Madame Alexander/All Rights Reserved/New York, U.S.A. cloth label is still firmly attached to the base.
