Nutrition ---- Gayelord Hauser, who is well-known in Seattle as a nutritionist, author and lecturer, will lecture at the Palomar Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, May 3rd and 4th at 8:00 P.M. These lectures are open to the public. In addition to a reserved section, there will be more than 800 seats free of charge. Houser's last lecture in Seattle was at the Washington Athletic Club about six weeks ago, but attendance was limited to members. In the past twenty years Gayelord Hauser has gained wide fame as diet advisor to many movie stars and prominent members of international society. As an author he is best known for "Look Younger, Live Longer" which was at the top of the best-seller list for two years, a record which has only recently been eclipsed by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale's "Power of Positive Thinking." Hauser recently returned from a world tour. He first went to Argentina as a guest of the government where he conferred with the Minister of Health regarding ways and means of improving the national diet of that country. He also lectured in Casa Blanca, Morocco, Paris, Rome, West Berlin, and London. His new book, recently published by Farrar, Straus & Cudahy, is entitled "New Guide to Intelligent Reducing." In addition to his own book, he figures prominently in two other recent books: Ludwig Bemelman's "To the One I Love Best" about his great friend, Lady Mendl; and the recently published biography of Greta Garbo.
