#1 larger comb 5 x 2½ ins (13 x 6 cm)

 

#2 smaller comb 4 x 3½ ins (10 x 9 cm)

MATERIALS: celluloid

 

DESCRIPTION:

 

This beautiful comb set is an excellent example of the accessories which were worn in the Art Nouveau period at the turn of the 20th century. Note that both combs are curved and do not lie flat.
