Victorian Pleated Ivory Silk Faille Embroidered Cuffs Wedding Gown Bridal Bodice

This antique Victorian era pleated ivory silk faille embroidered cuffs wedding gown bridal bodice top dates from the 1880s. It is made of an off white ivory color silk faille fabric ribbed texture with pleated details on the front. This beautiful bridal bodice has a fitted tailored style with pleated details on the front plunging V neckline, long sleeves with sheer silk chiffon embroidered ruffle cuffs, comes to a point at the bottom, mother of pearl button closures on the front and is fully lined in a white cotton fabric with stays, boning, petersham waistband, weighted bottom back sewn inside. The top measures 18 inches long, with a 28 inch chest, 20 inch waist, 19 inch long sleeves and an 11 inch back. It is in good condition, with only one missing button closure. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana wedding bridal wearable art!
