Aluminized Heat Sheaths have a heat reflective mylar layer on the outside of the sheath and a high temperature woven fiberglass internal layer.
Professionally sewn together right here in the USA.
Available in a range of sizes from 1/2 inch up to 3" inside diameter.
Our sheathing is very flexible and easy to cut to size and work with.
Commonly used on braided steel, hard metal or soft fluid lines, oil lines, plastic tubing, wire harnesses and sensors, air Intake or Intercooler Pipe etc. Anything you want to protect or shield from radiant heat.
Also because of the aluminum construction our sheathing is great as a radio noise insulator for wiring.
Aluminized sheathing can handle 800° Fahrenheit direct heat all the way up to 2000 degrees radiant heat.
