A neck plate is one of the most overlooked tools for improving the response of an instrument. At first glance, it's just a metal plate at the junction of the neck and the body. Seems fairly inconsequential until we realize...it's a metal plate at the junction of the neck and the body! A thicker neck plate offers more rigidity, and thus, greater potential for torque on the neck screws. The increased mass encourages vibration between the screws, body, and neck, increasing sustain and an enhanced fundamental note.

Our neck plates are CNC machined from brass and finished by hand. Thickness and mass are twice that of a stock plate.  Includes 4, high-quality Stainless Steel mounting screws.
