Description ------- small, vintage, 1960s to 1970s original - OIL ON GRUMBACHER CANVAS BOARD, not a print! This is an humorously cute portrait of a big-eyed Boston Terrier puppy, artist unknown, from the period - 1963 (when 5-digit zip codes began) to 1974 (no UPC code on back - UPC codes began in 1974).

Looks like the artist used a Coby brand greeting card from that era, as the inspiration for this painting. This little Boston wears a red sweater and matching tam with blue pompom. Please read condition report - it has some minor defects of age.

Condition - Original oil painting, on Grumbacher canvas board in GOOD condition with a few surface issues: a bump to the upper left corner of the board, some assorted abrasions on the surface including a sprinkling of white speckles on the upper left of the pup’s head, assorted other minor paint losses in background color. Sold Unframed, not matted. Clean, odor-free and from a non-smoking home.
