LEN AARON.  Original Mixed Media Abstract on Canvas, "Man with Monkey", 36" x 24"  mixed media on canvas, titled lower left:  Man with Monkey; signed lower right:    Len Aaron. Unframed.

Leonardo Aaron (Len) uses mixed-media (oil, water-based, and acrylic paints) in his abstract paintings, and most of his work is done on canvas that is stretched on a gallery wrap stretcher bar.

He is the co-founder and past president of the Aaron Brothers Art Mart Stores, and from his early youth has been dedicated to art and framing.

He was born in Antigo, Wisconsin 1917, and started painting his signature abstract paintings in the 1950s, when he was his forties.

Many of his collectors comment that his style resembles that of Jackson Pollock. The artist admits, with a smile, that he paints his work while swinging on his backyard swing and leaves that mark on the painting as a reminder that life is dynamic and what you get is what may come your way. With a touch of whimsy, he sometimes hides the name of the painting within the artwork.

His collectors include:
Larry Shwimmer, The Maywood Co.
Donald Wyre, Vice President, City National Bank of Beverly Hills
Aaron Spelling, Motion Picture and TV Producer
Ken Padvene, Coldwell Banker
Xavier Cugat, Famous Artist & Entertainer
Ralph Hall, State Senator, Texas
Ami Havivy, Art Gallery Owner
