★Michael Jackson's masterpiece "Thriller" has sold over 100 million copies since its release in 1982 and reigns as the best-selling album in human history. This historic masterpiece reached its peak, recording number one not only in the United States but also in countries around the world, including the innovative music video that became a symbol of the heyday of MTV, as well as numerous hit singles. So far, a 25th anniversary edition was released in 2008 and a 40th anniversary edition was released in 2022, but this time, the sequel to "Another Thriller" with the latest edits, "More Than "Thriller"" Alternate Album Collection is here.
CD1 contains all the songs on the album as original demo versions. This CD includes all the songs on the album "Thriller" including home demos, early outtakes, and recording session recordings before the album was completed. This is the naked version of the album "Thriller" reconstructed from the original sound sources before the lyrics were different, the songs themselves were unfinished, and overdubs were applied. The second half and CD2 are rare and unreleased tracks, which are songs not included on the album, studio outtakes, and demos. These rare recordings include songs that were recorded at the same time as the masterpiece "Thriller" but were ultimately shelved, original versions of songs that were later re-recorded and revived, and legendary unreleased studio recordings with Paul McCartney and Freddie Mercury. In particular, the precious session recording of Paul McCartney's "Say Say Say," which was recorded in 1981 before "The Girl Is Mine," and the unreleased version of "There Must Be More to Life," a collaboration with Freddie Mercury whose Queen version was later officially released, are rare recordings that you can't miss. This is a special collector's edition of the 2025 version of "More Than Thriller," a 2-CD set reconstructed with the latest edits, allowing you to enjoy the fullness of Michael Jackson at the peak of his career, when the unreleased recordings from "Thriller" were enough to make an album.
