An engrossing coin from the Qingyuan Era – first of the four eras of Emperor Ningzong's 30 year reign (1194-1224). Generally we now call the 5th year of the Qingyuan Era 1199 AD. Emperor Ningzong of Song (1168–1224) was the thirteenth emperor of the Song dynasty, and fourth emperor of the Southern Song dynasty.
